Calypso 1.1
-----------

Calypso provides a new file and program management front end for
Windows 3.x that is similar to Windows 95.  If you can't upgrade to
Win95, try this out...


Upgrading from v1.0
-------------------

There are substantial changes in this version.  Look in the help file
under "What's New" to get aquainted with the new features, without having
to hunt through the entire file.


Quick start
-----------

Minimum requirements are a 386, about 4MB RAM and VGA graphics.
Copy all the files included in this package into a directory on your
hard disk, and run CALYPSO.EXE.  At any point, you can press F1 for
detailed help.

To convert your Program Manager groups, run PMGROUPS.EXE (Program
Manager must be available, either in the background or located
in you \WINDOWS directory).

Delphi source code
------------------

If you are a Delphi programmer, you might be interested in some of the
more advanced techniques used in Calypso.  I'm preparing a collection of
components, routines and a demo version of Calypso, all including source.
I'll post an announcement to a Delphi newsgroup when it's ready.

Meanwhile, if you have a query about the implementation, feel free to
e-mail.  I'll answer short questions, and for more complex issues, I'll
try to include relevant source code in the final package.  Please try to
be specific about what you need to know -- I can mail you snippets of code
if I know exactly what you're looking for.
